Emily & Graeme | Wedding

Her dress. I’m pretty sure it was made for her. It was classic yet unique, much like her. Their wedding day, perfection. Truly a reflection of who they are and what their love means to them. As I looked through my camera and watched her walk down the aisle, I noticed their eye contact, their exchange of emotion. I witnessed their moments, their love. It is moments like these that makes me fall in love with photography again and again.

Thank you Emily & Graeme for inviting me to capture your wedding day.

Erin & Michael | Canmore Wedding

We prepared for the rain, we expected it. We had intentions on embracing it. I grabbed the umbrella that stood by our door before leaving the house that morning. There were a few good things about the rain that I was actually excited about. First, I love to shoot in the rain, there is something so romantic about it. Second, our newly sodded backyard was going to get some much needed watering (ya!). The rain never did come that day and instead the sun peeked through the clouds every so often and the wind was a soft, subtle breeze that you could feel swirl in your hair and linger on your fingertips from time to time. Equally perfect, equally romantic. Just as it would have been if rain had dawned on us that day.

As I walked up to the ceremony site I spotted Michael from a distance. Nervous? If he was, I couldn’t tell. Even from afar, I could feel his excitement, through his smiles, the anticipation, by the way his arm fell on top of his father’s shoulder. His relaxed nature was carried on throughout the day. There was something so calm about their wedding day. So serene. Nothing rushed, nothing stressed upon. It really was a beautiful celebration of their love.

Thank you Erin & Michael for having me be a part of your wedding day.

Caroline & John | Wedding

Classic and simple and intimate.

They invited about 50 people to their wedding, those of whom are closest to their hearts. Taking the time to enjoy each other and celebrate while breaking away from tradition. Perfection.

Thank you Caroline & John for having me capture your moments, your story.

Ivy & Robbie | Wedding

6. That’s how many dresses Ivy wore on her wedding day. Each different and unique and detailed and completely her. I loved the traditional dress she wore, the red and bits of gold that swirled throughout. Her white dresses – 3 of them. They elegantly flowed through the air as she walked by. The lace on one, the beading on another. So lovely. She graced her reception in gold and in purple. I had a little bit of dress envy by the end of the night, to say the least. The day was long and beautiful and their smiles never left their faces.

This was there wedding (in September). Can summer please, please get here faster!

Laura & Joe | Wedding

A winter wedding. Snowflakes falling. Fireplace burning. Rosy cheeks and Christmas lights. So magical. Congratulations Laura and Joe!
