Shawn + Sara

A perfect August afternoon filled with love and family. We love you guys! xoxo.

Being on top of a mountain was so surreal. It was quiet and calm and the stillness was magical. As we walked to one part of the mountain to another, Alisha and Steve exchanged their vows, their rings, and devoted themselves to one another. The following day they escaped once again and this time they were not only surrounded by their closest of family but by their dear friends as well. Chalets that lined in rows is where everyone stayed for the weekend and in the evening they all gathered together to celebrate the love of Alisha and Steve. The hand-painted birds on table tops and hung from the ceiling were done by Alisha herself. The food (fresh from the farmer’s market) was a collaboration from family and of their favorite recipes. Their wedding rings – made of wood. His suit and her dress, only made sense that it would be custom just for them. Not only was every single detail the most authentic representation of who they are but it truly was an expression of the love that they shared with the people that surrounded them.

I can not thank you enough Alisha and Steve for having me document your wedding day. It was an amazing experience that I am so very grateful for!

Rozlynn + Kevin

My last weddings of the season was this past weekend. I must admit that a part of me is a little sad. I will miss the excitement a wedding day brings and being surrounded by love and being able to photograph it is a pretty amazing thing. But for now I am playing catch up!

Just a couple from Rozlynn and Kevin’s wedding from July.

Emily & Graeme | Wedding

Her dress. I’m pretty sure it was made for her. It was classic yet unique, much like her. Their wedding day, perfection. Truly a reflection of who they are and what their love means to them. As I looked through my camera and watched her walk down the aisle, I noticed their eye contact, their exchange of emotion. I witnessed their moments, their love. It is moments like these that makes me fall in love with photography again and again.

Thank you Emily & Graeme for inviting me to capture your wedding day.
