The Skilnick Family

With every season brings new growth, new memories to look back on. As I photographed this family I could feel fall coming to an end. The wind that kissed our cheeks and shook our hair was so cold. My hands were a little numb, their noses a little red. It is only now that I remembering how truly cold it was because as I captured their free spirits and little whispers I felt not the gusts of wind nor the shivers and chills, but I felt their love. It is so undeniable. Thank you Skilnick Family for showing me all that is true.

An Autumn Day

Sometimes when life feels crazy and overwhelming and busy day after day, you have to take time. Time to realize that beautiful moments are happening all around you. Emery and Aidan, thank you my sweet children for filling my life with these beautiful memories.

The Hryszko Family

I love this family! I can’t say it enough. The boys are so sweet and funny and ridiculously adorable and sport the longest lashes I’ve ever seen. Rob and Melissa are the most perfect pair – in every way. And all together, they are playful and free and loving and open.

Thank you so much Hryszko family for having me photograph you again. I am so grateful for all the love and endless support you have shown me through the years. It really does mean so much to me! Love, Maria.

Also, Alisha + Steve’s Wedding was featured here today.

The Mechor Family

I photographed this family when Cole was just 7 days old and having the opportunity to capture his sweet face again just 8 months later fills my heart. Seeing my own family grow amazes me and seeing other families do the same is just as amazing. Just as beautiful.

Thank you so much Mechor Family for having me document your growth and love for another.

The Chicilo Family

I looked out the window this morning and watched the snow fall. It is beautiful. Aidan entirely agrees. It is so beautiful that he can’t help but run up to the window every so often to watch the snow fall. His tiny nose presses up against the glass and his eyes widen. A true wonder. I’m not sure how long this appreciation for winter will last but when I look at these photos of this family from fall, a tiny bit of that “appreciation” just slipped away. I must admit I am already missing the colors, the warmth and photographing families completely in love such as this one. Thank you Chicilo Family for sharing some beautiful fall moments with me.
