These two no longer live in Calgary but when they do come back to visit from time to time, there are a few places that they hold close to their heart. Kensington is a place where memories were made for them. They have an interest in films and going to the Kensington theatre was something they did. And loved. All of the little shops and cafes in Kensington were places that they loved to frequent and were all places where they have created some memories, so naturally, when it came time for their engagement session we went back to that special place to create some more.

I love photographing people in love. I love the moments shared. I love listening to their story. Erin and Michael’s story goes a little something like this.. Michael was working and living in Australia and both him and Erin happened to be visiting Banff at the same time. That is where they met. They found each other. Six months later Michael quit his job and moved to Calgary so that they could be together. Here they are four years later about to be married. Amazing. Really, really amazing.

I can’t wait for the wedding day!

The grass was still brown and there were still snowy patches outside when these were taken. Just a few weeks ago! Hard to believe. It is sunny now and colors are changing. Oh summer. I can hardly wait!

One of the things I love about what I do is having the chance to meet so many wonderful people. Caroline and John are two very amazing people and are two people very much in love. They take it for what it is and for what it should be. A true reflection and celebration of each other.
