where have the days gone?

Holy cow! I just realized I have fallen off the blogging wagon and have been mia for over 3 weeks! This can attest to how busy (and crazy) life is right now!

We have bought a house! Even though it is not exactly our dream house (I guess who’s really is?), we LOVE it and are excited nonetheless! More space, more bedrooms, new furniture! Aidan, my wonderful little helper has decided that it’s more fun taking things out of boxes after they have been neatly put in and all of a sudden the toys that I pack because they are never played with are now the greatest toys on earth. On top of the packing frenzy I have been having some late nights working like a madwoman to put up galleries from these past two boudoir marathon weekends, which I will share very soon! I wish I could see an end to this busy life but right now it seems like I have a never ending to do list. Oh and I turned 24 a couple weeks ago… does that mean I’m now in my mid-20’s?

If anyone can help me take one frustration off of my hands, please tell me where I can get a chair similar to this..

Nate - I like that chair, lets go hunt this weekend! I think I'll take Aidan out so you can get some stuff done tonight.

Lindy - Congrats on the new house! That's so exciting. I'm sure it'll be super crazy the next little bit but also be so wonderful when it's all over! Can't help you with the chair, sorry! Wish I could, although then I'd want there to be two because that chair's awesome!

maria lang - Thanks Carissa, unfortunately we don't have a West Elm here - boo for Canadian stores! I have actually found similar chairs online, all US based of course!

Boogieman2k - Try checking in the teacher lounges in the older schools.....how you get to sneak in there and out with a chair I don't know but I remember seeing those all the times when I was a kid but they were always in mustard yellow or pumpkin orange so they might need some reupholstering. Congratulations on the new house & Happy belated birthday.
