wedding albums
I just received Brittany and Adam’s wedding album in the mail and it is a beauty! I love my album vendor for its simplicity. Simple, clean, classic and timeless. The leather is so plush, comes in a variety of colors and the pages are thick and sturdy. Also, all of my albums are individually, custom designed by me! This means no two albums will ever be the same and each one will be uniquely tailored to you.
the first step
The first step is… admitting.
I have a horrible, horrible thing to admit.. and I’m hoping that in confessing this I will be moved and motivated, enough so for me to complete this daunting task. I don’t even know how I let it all build up for so long, it has been something that’s been on my to do list for umm.. a couple years now..
“The shoemaker has no shoes.” (is that the saying?) is quite relative to me. Aside from the photos I have up on my walls, I have not printed a single photo of my family and my sweet Aidan to actually be put into any albums. Aidan is 3 and a half so I’m sure you can imagine how many photos I have to go through and they all sit in hard drives/discs in digital format. I want to hold and feel these photos.. and be able to get cozy on the couch with my family and flip through pages of our life. Our memories!
It is overwhelming. I feel overwhelmed.
I know this is something I NEED to do. So the process will start this week (hold me accountable). Any tips on making this easy breezy is welcome and appreciated

I’ve had some people asking where I’ve been and why I haven’t been shooting so I just wanted to let everyone know I am not accepting (and have not been for quite some time now) any further commissions. As you all know, I am due with my second in May and I can’t imagine missing any precious time from my new bundle of joy At this time I have begun booking for late summer/fall, so please inquire at info@marialangphotography.com as sessions are very limited. There will be a lot more personal/family photos on the blog, tune in for my journey!

snakes and ladders
Aidan has been so intrigued by this game lately. Once a day, everyday, it is snakes and ladders in the Lang household. I’m not complaining though, I’m a sucker for a classic game!
