i am finally getting around to blogging the rest of my shoots from december. slacker, i know. for this session, we headed out to the calgary zoo and had so much fun exploring and hanging out. when cynthia and i first met, we figured out we had so much in common - including having lived in the same 3 cities at one time or another! it is a small world after all..

these two definitely define perfection and i just love it when new clients feel like old friends.

we had such amazing, beautiful weather this weekend so we took advantage of it by driving out to Banff.

my dad is another person that appreciates nice weather and has an unhealthy obsession with the mountains. so i decided to grab a few photos for him and now i think i am obsessed too! they are such a sight to see and i can’t wait for camping season to begin!

here they are.. breathtaking!

if you’re wondering.. a couple hours later, the jellybean was found!

it’s always fun when i get the chance to step out of my element and photograph something new and different. i love the challenge! 

jlh construction does AMAZING woodwork and invited me along to photograph a home they just recently finished. i will have to keep adding to this post as the photos below doesn’t nearly cover the massive home in all its glory. believe it or not, i have now gained a greater appreciation for wood and the artists behind it. 

now that’s what i call fine craftsmanship

the busy holiday season came and passed.. rather quickly!! it’s back to regular life and back to blogging (regularly). remember those beautiful -24 degrees celsius days we had back in december? well, while you were all cozy in the comfort of your home, jacob, linda and i were out embracing it all! and for good reason! they are an amazing couple and are celebrating six years. thanks for hanging out guys, i had a blast.
