I had so much fun taking pictures with these guys today. What a beautiful little family if I do say so myself! Oh and their little girl is a doll.. and I think I’ve become her pal. She was not camera shy one bit!

I’m sure I can’t be the only photographer mom whose kid LOVES getting their picture taken. Not only does he pose but he will also patiently wait until I’m done getting all the shots I need. He could be so engrossed in something and will immediately snap out of it once he hears the click of the shutter. It even works for tantrums too! Ha! I hear the word “camera” at least twice a day from him.. oh so much fun!

Well we finally got to go out and do our shoot! I was a little worried when I looked up the forecast for the day and it read 10 degrees. I looked outside, saw the sun shining brightly and thought “ooh how deceiving!!” I didn’t clue in until hours later that I had been reading the overnight forecast! haha yea we all have our moments!!

As promised, here is part 2 of my shoot with this sweet, precious boy!!

I got to take pictures of the sweetest 14 month old ever!! He seriously did not make one fuss the whole time I was snapping away. Oh and I LOVE the fact that he still has all his chubby baby rolls. I hope they never go away.. well maybe one day haha.

This is another shoot that has been rescheduled more then once due to the weather.. but now the sun is finally here and I’m hoping it’s here to stay!! I first met these two back in February, and in just 2 weeks from now, they will be tying the knot!!

Christina suggested we do the pictures at Bowness Park, which only makes sense, as that is where they love to spend most of their time. The weather was perfect, the lighting was perfect and these two are perfectly in love. You could tell just by watching them interact.. love was definitely in the air!

When Megan and Simone first asked me to do some pictures for their up and coming website, I was thrilled!! Our shoot isn’t scheduled until Friday, but last night I received a call that a local magazine was publishing a story on them and they needed a quick “headshot” done a.s.a.p. Well because of the weather, we were a little limited on locations, but her gorgeous home definitely made up for that! Megan and Simone are newly founders of Calgary Baby Planners and if you haven’t yet heard of them, I’m sure in no time, you will. The “buzz” is definitely getting around! They are a baby concierge and consulting service that cater to expectant parents. Calgary’s very own Baby Planners are here to guide us and keep us in the know of all the latest and greatest baby gear and services available out there. I wish there had been something like this when I was pregnant, maybe then I wouldn’t have wasted so much time and money getting things I would never even need or use or end up throwing away.
