We have been getting some warm, beautiful weather these past few weeks in Calgary and when I saw the forecast indicating rain for Saturday I was a little giddy with excitement! I was even more excited when Amber and John embraced it as well. When I photographed their engagement session I knew photographing their wedding day would be something magical. Her dress, his suit, her killer shoes, the peacock feathers in the bridesmaid’s hair and the ones tucked in the boutonnieres, the rustic charm of the reception… everything was put together so perfectly.

Thank you Amber and John for having me capture your day, you truly are some of the most genuine, real, and humble people I have ever met and I felt so lucky to witness your love and to be there in your celebrations.

Over the holidays, I photographed Brittany & Adam’s wedding! I loved the bridal party’s attire - so simple and classic. His suit, her dress, the barrette that held her hair in place. Everything! The transformation of their venue was gorgeous! Terra Law from Inspired Ocassions did an amazing job of putting it all together. Every last detail portrayed Adam and Brittany so well.

It is always really important to me that the people I work with and myself click really well. When I first met Phearith and Cody they were relaxed, easy going, in love and I knew right away that their personalities matched mine! I am so lucky to be able to witness people falling in love all over again on their wedding day, and these two did just that.

This wedding was from last month, and I can remember dressing and being prepared for a rainy day, but it didn’t turn out that way at all! In fact, it was quite the beautiful day and the sun peeked out from the clouds every now and then. I also remember how awesome the little red church was that they were married in and more importantly, how perfect these two are for each other. Enjoy!
